I have a leaking compressor in air conditioning unit, what would be the cost to replace compressor and all necessary parts associated with a new air conditioning system.  I have been quoted $995.00 to replace, so I have purchased the parts myself and would like to know how much should the labor be?

Kathy, depends on what else is leaking. There are various components of an A/C system.  If you are just getting a compressor, then you need to get the compressor, accumulator, oriface tube, O-rings, refrigerant oil and refrigerant.  Labor to do just that is about 4 hours at $79 per hour.  I hope this helped.  Roger
