Volvo Repair: V70 Intermittent Electrical Shut-down, volvo specialist, cam sensor

Question
My 2004 V70 with 80K miles has an intermittent problem where the ignition goes dead when making a sharp turn in either direction.  The car will start-up immediately and continue to run without a problem until it occurs again. The problem can occur once every several days or weeks but it only happens when in a sharp turn at an intersection.  It does not appear to be temperature related.  I am thinking along the line that an electrical sensor is the cause such as cam position sensor or some other component is failing.  Since this is intermittent, I think it would be difficult to diagnose.  Any ideas or suggestions?

Answer
John, its possible to be a cam sensor but Im leaning more towards something grounding out when you turn.  May also be a immobilizer or stc control issue.  Hard to say without doing routine diagnostics and tests.  I suggest the Dealer or Volvo specialist shop for this one.  Roger
