Volvo Repair: 850 GLT Volvo, radio shop, new radio

Hello Roger I have a 1995 850 GLT Volvo and when we bought the car someone had removed the rear deck speakers. So we bought the same speakers and connecting them but they don't work. There is a silver connector hanging down but we don't know what to connect it to. Can you help me with this? Thanks

Angela, that silver connector would be for the CD changer.  There may be an issue with the rear channel on the radio.  I would buy a new radio.  It may be best to take it to a Volvo shop or radio shop for some help.  Hard to say without checking it out.  Roger
