Volvo Repair: Power window relay problem (?), window switch, volvos

Question
I have had my 2002 S60 for a year now and the drivers side window switch started clicking randomly...at first.  After a while, it started doing it constantly.  When I removed the fuse it stopped.  I took it to the dealer and they told me I needed $400 worth of work on it including a new motor.  Well, I think I'm being screwed as the window still wants to move by itself randomly.  A friend said it sounds like the relay.  Is this possible?  Is it easy to fix?  Cheap?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Martyn, Its possible that its a relay but I have seen the master window switch be the culprit.  With anything on these newer Volvos, everything costs money so the word cheap is non-existant.  Believe it or not, the car would need to be scanned to see what codes is stored in the system.  It may also be in the door wiring harness.  I have seen that as well.  Roger
