QuestionQUESTION: When I start my 1999 non turbo S70 (148k), the windows, wipers, stereo, A/C and blower will not operate until the car has heated up for at least 5 - 10 minutes, then out of the blue... voila', they all work perfectly until I shut the car off and it cools down. What is causing this? Thank you!
ANSWER: Steve, try backing the key towards you just a little bit after you start the car. We have seen problems with the electrical portion of the ignition switch causing these symptoms. Roger

AnswerSteve, that was the only quick one I could give you. The rest is going to have to have tests performed on. You could check one more harness that goes from the pos bat terminal to the fuse box. Other than that, take to a reputable Volvo shop or dealer. Roger
