Volvo Repair: Blown bulb, left headlight, shunt resistor, s80 t6

Question
Had to replace left headlight bulb and now there is no voltage at the socket. Will it be the relay or shunt/resistor that needs to be replaced also.
(Gotta love the 2000 S80 T6 model!! I'm learning to hate it more everyday!!!

Thanks in advance for answering and for your answer to my prior question on the steering wheel control buttons. Your answer did fix the problem!)

Answer
Earl, you think you hate that car?  I work on them everyday and I cringe when I see one pull up.  Check the fuse in the main panel for the left headlight.  I bet your wires were chaffing and probably touched.  Time to get rid of this thing before it drives you nuts.  Roger
