Volvo Repair: Volvo 2004 S60 2.4L non-turbo Brake Rep, rear disc brakes, brakes rotors

Question
Friend wants to teach me and assist me in replacing my Volvo 2004 S60 2.4Liter non turbo, gasoline fuel injected front and rear disc brakes (rotors) and pads.

I have priced replacements parts - OEM and found Disc Brakes by Zimmermann for both front / back and PBR Deluxe brake pads for both front / back for $500.00 (cost and air).  This is much more affordable compared to the Volvo dealership wanting to charge me approx. $750.00 to do only the front rotor and pad replacement with a brake fluid flush.

Are there any secret tools and knowledge needed or is the job typical like any other brake job.  He worked on family and friends BMW brake jobs, but never a Volvo.

Answer
Glenn, Zimmermans are great rotors.  PBR's are decent pads but I prefer Rouunds/danblock.  There are no tricks really.  Just a 7mm allen socket for the front caliper.  The front caliper clip is a little tricky but have him study it, and it is pretty much like any other brake job.  Roger
