Volvo Repair: 98 S70 T5 front Axle replacement, boot repairs, cv boot

I'm just trying to find out if a quote of $2,025 for each side of the front axle replacement (total = $5,050) is a reasonable quote?  I looked up the cost of the parts and that didn't add up unless it's all labor?

Christi, find a new shop.  That place is smoking dope.  Are the axles noisy or are the boots ripped?  3 hours labor at the most to do both sides.  I would only charge 2 if it was just take an axle out and put another in.  CV boot repairs cost 1.5 hours each side.  Need some more information from you.  Roger
