Volvo Repair: 20 v70xc brake light failure, light bulbs, corrosion

Question
My 02 cross country has an intermittent brake light failure.  The center brake light always works, however the two side brake lights do not.  There was a recall on this problem however my vin isn't included.  One bulb was changed recently at a repair shop as part of a normal maintenance.  The problem began immediately after(they take no responsibility).  I checked the bulbs myself and found the glass was pulled away from the base on one.  I replaced that, but the problem still exists.

Always replace bulbs in pairs Ex:left brake light is burned out also replace the right brake light. Bulbs of different manufacture, or even different manufacture dates can set off the system. Or there may be some corrosion at the bulb holder or failing bulb holder
