Volvo Repair: passenger door open warning light on, volvo dealer, micro switches

I have a 2001 S60. I have been having a problem, generally while driving, if I go over a slight bump the overhead dome light will come on and the message center will read, Passenger door open.  Over the past few months the problem has become worse.  While driving in rain, the overhead dome light will flash on and off, while the passenger door open message flashes also.  Within the past week, if the car is locked, the alarm may go off repeatedly...until I unlock the car.  The local volvo dealer didn't know what the problem was...please help!! My husband suspects it could be a problem with the power lock module because if you slam the door hard enough, the dome light will go off.

you either have bad lock assembly on passenger side  or bad wiring on right side door  i guess your local Volvo dealer did not duplicate the problem or spend enough time to find you concern  i cant belive they don't know what problem is they must know take it back to Volvo when you have the problem  i thing you problem is lock assembly it comes with all the micro switches and sensors for alarm also you can upgrade software for total  can when you go to Volvo dealer just tell them to do total can upgrade software  and replace right.front door lock assembly and i thing your problem will be fixed
