Volvo Repair: 1989 Vovlo 240 Wagon, glass fuses, blown fuse

Question
I have a 1989 Volvo 240 Station Wagon. While driving, all of a sudden the radio turned off and the seatbelt chime started. The radio will not turn on and the chiming won't stop when the engine is running. I've check the connections under the seat and they are all okay, I've jiggled the key, and tried re-starting the car numerous times. No luck! Help!!!

Answer
Start by checking your fuses, you may have a blown fuse or corroded contact. Fuses are inexpensive so replace them all with the correct size and amperage. Use wd40 or similiar to clean the contacts of the fuses.Don't get the glass fuses, ask for the ceramic fuses. They are available in all auto parts stores.
