Volvo Repair: Main fuel pump on 1994 940 turbo, fuel hose, fuel pump

 Hello Rodger,
After I changed the fuel filter on the wifes 94 940 turbo it acts like it is starving for fuel,it ran great before I did this.It was a real pain to change.Is it possible that I could have unplugged the wires to the main fuel pump? Would it still run with only the in tank pump? I may have kinked the small line from filter to pump,is this a metal line or plastic line? If damaged what should it be replaced with?

Gregg, you should leave that stuff to the pros and not be in the doghouse with the wife.  HA.  Anyway.  Car would not run very well with just that intank pump so I would check the connections.  There is no way to put it on backwards so you are ok there.  What brand did you use?  That is a plastic line.  I usually use a piece of fuel hose with clamps when those break.  Let me know how it works out.  Roger
