Volvo Repair: 1985 Volvo 240 DL Fuel Issue, volvo 240 dl, volvo 240

Question
I have a 1985 that just died sitting at a light. I read through your list, bought a relay and replaced it, and still no go. I noticed that one of the fuses was burnt out, and when I went to replace it, ignition off, it instantly became hot enough to sear my thumb. Car was running perfectly before hand. Any clue? Also, you you could tell me what fues is what, top to bottom in the panel, that would be very helpful. I am without an owner's manual.

Answer
Robert, Your timing belt may have broken.  but if fuse number 6 or 7 is getting that hot, then there is a problem in the fuel delivery.  I take it your sticker isnt on the back of teh cover anymore.  I dont have that list here but I can help you with most of them.  Which do you need to know?  Roger
