Thanks in advance for your help.  I have two questions if I may.  Number 1 I need to know how to take the door panel off on the passenger side the window regulator has to be replaced? I think the window won't go up and sounds like something is moving but not the window.  2 shops have said I need the regulator replaced just trying to do it myself.  Number 2 my trunk open indicator light is on, with the ding ding, even when the trunk is closed and locked?  also the driver window won't work on the door switch but will work from the master (all windows up or down) switch.  I know thats 3 but the window issue is about the same.  : )

Patricia, forget it. 1. I've been doing this for 10 years and the c70 converible window regulator is the biggest pain in the butt to replace.  I can not even begin to tell you how to do because there are a hundred steps just to adjust the stupid thing.  Take my advice and leave it to a Volvo shop or Dealer.  Joe Schmoe wont be able to do it either. 2. that one is interesting, Ive never heard of such a thing.  Most likely its something in the trunk lock actuating mechanism.  As far as the window  goes,  The door switch is most likely the culprit.  Sounds like you have some issues to get taken care of.  Roger
