Volvo Repair: ac noise, volvo 940, belt dressing

Hello,
I just got my '93 Volvo 940's ac working,after repairing a broken ground wire,a switch in the dash and recharging the system, but now it lets out a little squeak when it starts to cycle what should i look for next.
Mind you the person that gave me it said the ac worked fine but it hasn't been on for about a year as far as i know.

Roland, Thats pretty normal for that car.  The shims in the clutch may be a little too close.  I wouldnt worry about it unless its annoying you.  Try a little belt dressing on the belt and see if it helps.  I dont think you want to spend 400 bucks on a compressor just for that noise.  Roger
