QUESTION: i have a 1990 746gle volvo.. i just took almost a day to figure out the cause of the windows not rolling down.. Now its working and the problem to that was the electrical fuse box, almost half of it is not getting power.. Im not sure where the power is being supplied from.. if you could tell me some info about this... thanks

im also having problem with my headlight... parking lights work but not the headlights unless its on high beam.. There is a switch to turn the lights on and there are 2 positions to turn the parking lights and the headlights. Position number one which is the parking lights works along with the instrumental panel lights.. But once i turn it into position number 2 which is the headlights, the instrumental panel lights turns off. I would appreciate your reply

Answer
Darren, I know how the light switch works, however, did you try it with the key in the on position?  The headlight will not come on unless the key is in the power position.  How are the bulbs?  Ive seen where they are both burned on low beam but not on high beam.  The relay for the power windows should be the J relay in front of the fuel system relay.  I would try that first.  Roger
