QUESTION: I have a check engine light that codes "thermostat temp. too low". How do I rectify this and/or how do I replace the thermostat and/or sensor?
ANSWER: On What?  A Boat?  Year and Model Please.

Jim, might as well replace the ECT sensor while you are replacing the thermostat.   Remove the Top timing cover and then you can access the thermostat housing.  You need a torx 40 to remove the screws.  The rest is pretty easy.  Buy a genuine Volvo ECT sensor or you will have problems.  Been there done that.  Roger
