Volvo Repair: 92 volvo 740 starts then stops, fuel pump relay, volvo 740

I backed into a bank of dirt and stoped up my tail pipe,   I didn't know it was stoped up until the car quit 2 days and appx 90 miles later.  Since then I unstoped tail pipe, replaced spark plugs listened for fuel pump to cycle when turned on, it did.  When the car sits for a while the 1st time it starts is when it runs the longest.  Appx 1-2 min.  After that it starts and runs for only 5-10 sec.  I checked the tail pipe on the 1st run and the exhaust seems to come out of tail pipe good.  Not sure where to go from here.  Please help!

Greg, this is one of those instances where I would have to look at the car for you.  You can check basics like the fuel pump relay, Speed sensor.  Your in-tank pump may also be on the fritz too.  If you can give me more info, perhaps we can go further.  Right now its just guess.  Roger
