Volvo Repair: volvo alternator, volvo s80, power steering pump

I don`t have the $$$ to pay the dealer to replace my 99 volvo S80 alternator. I have decided to take the old one out myself and replace it with a rebuilt one from autozone. Is there anywhere on the net where i can get a walkthrough on step by step how to do this?

Nick, Please take my advice and do not get one from Autozone.  Nothing but problems with those.  I suggest a Bosch rebuilder.  I dont know of any place that has step by step instructions but study it, its not that hard to do.  Remove the Power steering pump to get it out of the way and the alt will be okay to get too.  Roger
