Question
Roger,
I have oil coming out of the oil fill cap on top of engine, some people say it is my pcv valve and others say it is the oil return lines. Could you please tell me were the pcv valve is on my engine? Or what do you think is wrong and how to fix it.
                                Thank You,
                                   Edward

Answer
Edward, if these people knew what the were talking about, then I guess they would be Volvo Technicians.  Check the condition of your  oil cap seal.  If its brittle, replace it.  Your car may or may not have the flame trap filter.  Some did and some didnt.  Where you intake hose from the air filter box connects down to the throtle body, there will be a round holder that twists off to the left.  Remove that and see if its clogged.  If not, then just replace the oil cap seal.  There is no PVC valve on this car.  Happy New year.  Roger
