Volvo Repair: Volvo S80 side mirror, volvo s80, mirror assembly

Hi,
I am an owner of Volvo S80 1998 2.9 Lt (non turbo). As you know, volvo is equipped with a switch which can fold/unfold the side mirrors from inside. Last week, I experienced a pproblem when I operate the switch, the side mirrors travels in opposite direction. i.e. one folds and the other unfolds.

Any suggestions?

you have 1998 s80???try this to rest them fold them both inside with little force without  trying to use the switch if still dont work after that just move the one that did not respond again with hand to right position and than again try to use the switch  if that dont work than there is software to reset if that dont work than you will new mirror assembly
