Volvo Repair: headlight, adaptor kit, pin plug

i have bought a pair of headlights for a v40 2001,but ordered the wrong pin plug connection,do you know if there is an adaptor,or any other way to convert it , hope you can help.

The only way tyou can convert it is to figure out what year the headlights you ordered are, and then order the matching connectors from the wiring harness of that year vehicle.  Then you will have to cut and splice in the wires with the correct terminals.  All of these will be volvo original parts only from the dealer.  You can also look through junk yards for a s/v40 that you can take the harness from.  If that is too much work or too complicated to do then you will have to get the correct headlights, there is no adaptor kit.
