Volvo Repair: Fuel Door Clip, gas station attendant, door hinges

Question
A few days ago a friendly gas station attendant in New Jersey
helpfully helped me open the fuel door on my v70 and handily
broke the small plastic clip that keeps it closed.

It's a '98 model so I believe it should be the same part for v70s
through model year '00. But don't know where to start looking for
this relatively small plastic part. Any help or direction would be
hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

Answer
The fuel door hinges break on those cars all the time.  Its easy to replace.  All you need is a hammer and small punch.  The part is less than $20 at the dealer.  While you are there you can ask someone to show you haw it attaches.  I could try to describe it to you but it is difficult, especially if you don't have the part in front of you.  If they can't explain it to you where you understand, please write back and I will try to get a better description or try to get an illustration for you to see.
