Volvo Repair: 98 V 70 stalling, proper diagnosis, cam sensor

Question
hi, hopefully you can help me out,

My '98 V 70 just keep stalling on me, at first the car start and running normal, but sometimes it stalled and when I try to restart the engine, it won't start unless I stump on the throttle pedal.

thank you very much for your help

Answer
Dendy, this is something that needs to be checked out by your volvo shop.  The car needs to be scanned.  It could be anything from a Cam sensor to a intermittent fuel pump issue.  Sorry I couldnt be more specific but on these newer cars, things need to be scanned for proper diagnosis.  Roger
