Volvo Repair: a/c fan relay, volvo 740 gle, ash tray

Roger,
The a/c fan (forward of the radiator) will not come run on my 88 Volvo 740 GLE (B230F) and was looking to install a new relay for trouble shooting.  Problem is, I cannot find where this relay is located.  It doesn't seem to be in the fuse/relay panel that's behind the ash tray.

Jeff, check to see if fan is moving freely. Those older fans tend to crap out pretty fast.  Bypass the wires on the temp sender and see if the fan works that way.  In the engine bay there should be 2 black relays.  One is for the ignition and the other is for the fan.  Roger
