Volvo Repair: Volvo C70, volvo 850 t5, volvo c70 t5

Question
Hi,

I have bought a volvo C70 T5 Auto and had no end of trouble since I bought it and unfortunately have no warrantee with it. I need a new front driveshaft and callipers due and have seen the driveshaft and callipers for sale from a Volvo 850 T5. Just wondering if they would fit on my 99' C70?

Also I have had the dreaded flashing orange arrow on my dash and the abs and brake light come on. When the lights come on the speedo cuts out a few seconds later. I took the car to volvo who said the problem was a speed sensor on the autobox and had this replaced. However the lights still come on and they said it must be something to with the ABS pump module instead. However after their first poor analysis I was hesitant to pay for a new module.

Thanks for taking the time to answers questions on this site. I will leave you feedback afterwards. Thanks.

Answer
Well the 850 parts are not interchangeable.  That was one part that did change over those years.  The ABS problem is almost certainly a module.  I have never seen the sensors go bad.  It is NOT the pump however just the ABS control module.  The module is 700-800 dollars plus install.
