Answer
The key is most likely stuck because of a busted steering column lock.  It is hard to determine though without looking at the car.  That does have the biggest tendency to cause key turning problems.  The gear handle can be several things.  Press the brake and put your hand on the center console.  You should be able to hear/feel a click.  If that is not working it could be the interlock solenoid or brake switch.  The most likely problem is the shift knob though.  It has a tendency of breaking around the button.  You can try pulling it off and pushing the plunger manually to move the shifter.  It comes straight off with LOTS of force.  If that doesn't fix it then it either has a problem inside the shifter assembly, shifter cables, or possibly internal transmission problems.  The sunroof not opening could be cause of blown fuse, so check that first.  If it is okay then your problem is the siren.  I know it sounds weird but when the siren fails it will almost always take out the sunroof, and sometimes the lighting and remote control function.
