1996 850R wagon; what is the procedure for replacing the worn gas springs that hold the tailgate open?

Paul, Well, Its not too bad to do but its easier if you had someone holding the tailgate.  Remove the panel to access the shock and they pretty much pop out and just pop  the new one back in.  Just becareful when you are taking the panels off.  They are sensitive.  Roger
