Volvo Repair: 1981 Volvo Fuel System, air fuel mixture, vacuum leaks

Question
I just aquired a 1891 DL Wagon that at first, wouldn't start in the morning without a jump, and would continue to restart on its own until the next morning.  Now it needs a jump and fuel starter spray. It also is starting to sputter at times around 3rd gear. Any help please?

Answer
Elaine, There is a drawn somewhere in the system.  Check fuse number 7 and 13 and roll them, If they are corroded and look nasty, replace.  sputtering on those old systems can  be anything. air/fuel mixture adjustment, vacuum leaks, etc.  Best thing is to find a good Volvo shop like mine that likes to deal with the older cars.  Roger
