Volvo Repair: 2003 S60 - Replace center console cupholder, phillips head, screw driver

Question
Can you tell me how to replace the center console cupholder?  I have purchased the part from a dealer and they want $150.00 labor to replace it.
I'm pretty handy with tools, can I replace it myself?

Answer
You will need a torx25 driver.  (like a screw driver but a torx25 bit head instead of a phillips head.  Pull out the pen holder (straight out).  Pull up the surround around the shifter.  (detach it from the gear selector base if they are attached, varied by model).  If the surround is not attached to the shifter, then undo the one torx 25 bolt there at the base of the shifter (under the surround around the shifter).  Pull up that little metal clip.  Lift up the back of that gray bracket and pull it out.  Pull the parking brake.  Remove the boot.  Lift the base of the boot up by the plastic.  Open the center lid.  Lift out the coin holder.  Reach through the parking brake opening and pop out the bottom of the console starage bin.  Push up to get it to unclip.  Make sure it is empty in there.  Undo the two bolts in the bin, undo the two bolts where the pen holder was.  Undo the two side panels on either side of the center console.  Turn the latch for those beside the seat with a coin, then pull the panel towards the back of the car and it will come off.  Lift the rear of the console up slowly.  Reach under and unclip the connector on the underside for the cigarette lighter.  Then when its unclipped, disconnect it.  Lift the whole center console while slowly moving it backwards to disengage it from the dashboard.  Once its out you can flip it over and see 4 bolts holding the cupholder in.  Unbolt it and its out.  Install is the reverse of install.  For someone who's never done it before, it should take about 1-2 hours.
