Volvo Repair: 00 S40 PCV location and fuel smell inside car, flame trap, smell of gas

Question
I have a 00 S40 auto where is the PCV located on this car? Second question when starting the car lately I have been getting a smell of gas coming into the car but see no leaks under the hood or under the car?

Answer
There is no PCV valve on that car.  It has an air/oil seperator called a flame trap.  Its a black box mounted on the front of the block under the intake manifold.  The gas has to be coming from somewhere or you wouldn't be smelling it.  Check for spots that are wet (not necessarily dripping) from the tank up to the engine.  Also if nothing is found there you could have an evap emmision hose off or broken.  It lets gas fumes out but no liquid gas.
