Volvo Repair: Volvo 940 Sunroof, volvo 940, open position

I have a 1993 940 wagon and the sunroof has stopped opening and closing. It was working yesterday and now it is not.  The motor runs but the top seems to get stuck when going from the tilted-up postion to the flush/closed position.  It actually seems to get "cocked" inbetween the tilted-up postion and the sliding open position, if that makes sense.  It wants to start sliding back into the roof without a pause.  Any advice would be great!

Ryan, the roof needs to be re-timed or there is something in the track.  Close the roof until its flush.  Tap on it if it gets stuck. Remove the motor or crank handle.  Reinstall the motor or handle and see if it helped.  If not, then take it to a Volvo shop, because there are other things you have to do and its too complicated to explain.  Roger
