Volvo Repair: 99 Volvo interior, volvo s80, spray glue

I own a '99 Volvo S80.  The fabirc on the interior bar between the passenger window and the front dash has come loose.  I have tried spray glue and it would not stick. I actually made it worse by pulling the fabric away to spray the glue and then no stick.  I'm in Tennessee and it's been very humid and hot lately.

Those get like that because of water getting to them.  Pull the panel down (held in by clips) and look to make sure the sunroof drain isn't clogged.  That hose will sometimes back up with water and then overflow into that pillar.  The fabric can't be reglued to the pillar, and still look good at least. You'll have to go get a new one.  You'll need to know your interior trim code when you order one.  Under the hood there is a silver plate (on one of the fenders) that has a bunch of numbers stamped on it.  On the right hand side, the only row with a 4 digit number - that is your interior trim code.  Take that to a dealer and they can get you a new one.
