Volvo Repair: BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING ON MY 1987 VOLVO WAGON, volvo wagon, bulb failure

I have a 1987 Volvo wagon GL with low miles (approx. 90,000). My brake lights are not working and I was wondering what the problem might be? Can you offer any advice.

A few things.  First check the fuse.  Then check for power at the brake switch when you depress it. Check bulbs. then lastly the bulb failure unit will be the culprit.  Its the round relay thing under the drivers crossmember under the steering wheel.  roger
