Volvo Repair: 740 Turbo Power Loss, vacuum leaks, accelerator cable

Question
I own a 1991 740 GLE Turbo wagon 211,000 miles. Last night I came around a corner, went to accelerate and...nothing. Thought my accelerator cable snapped, but no, there is still tension and resistance. Car will progress forward at ten miles an hour, but has NO power, and when I depress gas pedal there is no revving, no increase in power at all. Just had vacuum leaks fixed and computer module replaced within last four months. Any ideas?

Answer
Hello,
My first guess ..the Air Mass Meter.....do this...remove the wiring connector to the AMM...start car...if car runs better...you need a AMM.
Get replacement on web...save lots of money.
