Volvo Repair: 94 850 Steering Gear (non turbo), bolts and nuts, haynes manual

Question
I'm replacing the steering gear on my 850 which requires loosening the subframe. My Haynes manual instructs that the old subframe mounting bolts must be discarded and replaced with new bolts and nuts. Just curious as to why new bolts must be used...  Also wondering if you have any tips on the steering gear replacement. Thanks much!

Answer
here it goes short help i hope it will help just lower the rear part of subframe by removing all rear bolts for subframe  subframe that will give you space but is harder to take it out  best way is to take complete subframe out    you reuse the bolts i never heard that you need to replace subframe bolts  you can reuse them  only if they are broken or damged than replace .good luck
