hello, i have recently purchased a 1996 volvo 850 glt, once i turn the key to the on position there is a buzzing sound comming from the passenger side under the hood behind the head light. I also noticed that my a/c puts out warm air not cold at all. i was hoping if you could explain the problem and suggest how i would go about fixing it. Thank you very much.

Jack, First you need to check to see if the A/C system is fully charged.  As far as the buzzing, It sounds like the headlight wiper motor is toast.  Unplug it and the noise will go away.  On the 850's the Evaporator is the culprit as far as leaks in the A/C system.  Very Labor intensive.  Roger
