Volvo Repair: 93 Volvo 960 Power steering pump, power steering fluid, power steering pump

Hello, I need to replace the power steering pump on my 960 wagon.Im pretty good but not great.Is this  a complex project and should  I pay the extra money for the pump with the new resevoir?

        Are you sure that the pump has failed?Pumps that pump oil rarely fail...they may make noise but doesn't mean that they have failed...belt noise,power steering fluid that has many miles may want to be changed,yes Jeff P/S fluid does need to be changed..that's the main reason that racks fail/leak.
            If the pump leaks thats another story.
           Replacing the pump can't be that difficult...just go slow...be certain you use the proper fluid as stated in your owners manual.
            Let fluid sit in pump for a few minutes before starting car.
