Volvo Repair: 87 Volvo 240 DL, volvo 240 dl, fuel pump relay

After running perfectly my Volvo won't start. Testing shows it has fire; apparently not getting fuel, correct? Is it likely the fuel pump, and can a general handy man such as me, put on a new one?

        Don't replace fuel pump til you know it's the prob.
     Test your fuel pump relay...lower left area near drivers foot area...is where it's located....if car won't start...rap fuel pump relay....this part does fail often.
You may have other problems...elect. connections could be corroded...check and clean fuses...especially those that relate to operating systems of the motor.
