Volvo Repair: Throttle Module, warranty issue, throttle plate

Question
------------------------I really appreciate your timely response to my previous question--the access to the gear selector bulb was simple!-I have a NON-Turbo; what's the easiest way to identify the throttle module?-Does it have a certain part number? Is it made in Japan? What do you actually mean by "cleaning?"Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I saw through a web site that there is some 'secret' warranty issue with the ETM. Answer from previous question---
remove the cover around the hand brake it just pull off toward the drivers seat.slide it toward the seat.remove the small cover inside the center console.and remove the 2 screws in the console under this cover, then disconnect the 2 connectors under the hand brake cover then the console will slide back.then you can access the bulb.

I would try cleaning the throttle module this is the thing either under the intake or on  the end of the intake depends if it is turbo or not.

Answer
the throttle module is the square piece on the under side of the intake manifold.it would  need to be removed and have the throttle plate and iside of the throttle housing cleaned with a carb. or throttle cleaner.there will be a part number on its sticker.
