Volvo Repair: clock spring, clock spring, srs system

I am in a desperate search of a clock spring for my Volvo s40 2000, dealers wants to much for that part, can you tell me please where can I look.

Thats a tricky one to find.  Unfortunatly for you the only place besides the dealer that would sell a part like that is a junk yard.  There's too much liability for aftermarket manufacturers to produce components in the SRS system, like the clock spring.  You may try ebay too.  Since those are all individuals mostly you can get parts that are still dealer parts but for less because they're either used or wholesale.  Hope that helps.
