Volvo Repair: 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo, digital odometers, volvo 850

Question
The odometer quit working about 5 dyas ago, but the speedometer is still in working order. Have any ideas?

I forget what year they switched to digital odometers, if it is digital you will probably have to have the guage cluster replaced.  If it is manual then the gear drive is probably broken and you could see it when you pull the cluster apart.  Its hard to find replacment parts for that though so you may still have to get it replaced.  If the speedometer is working then you know the signal wire is good up to the cluster, the problem is internal.  Hope that helps.
