Volvo Repair: Replacing S80 Power Steering Pump, crank pulley, power steering pump

Question
I have a 1999 S80 T6 with a leaking power steering pump.  I am planning to replace it myself.  To do so, do I have to remove any other parts other than the serpentine belt?  Some of the reseviours are nearby as are some cooling lines but it looks like I can get the pump out without removing it.  Are any special tools necessary?  Also, does the pulley have to be removed and press fit into the new pump or are the pump and pully one assembly?

Answer
YOu will have to remove the serpentine belt, however, it will not come out of the car.  The crank pulley will prevent you from removing it entirely.  Replace the pulley and pump as one unit.  The resevoir and all the lines don't have to move at all, just remove and replcae the pump.  Be sure that onece you have it installed that you turn the steering wheel all the way side to side so that you can bleed out the system.  After that you're all done.  Good Luck.
