Volvo Repair: My ETS light come on in my..., volvo s70, electronic throttle

My ETS light come on in my car.  Can you tell me what is the problem and how much does it cost to get fixed? I have a 99 volvo S70.

Answer
The ETS is the electronic Throttle System warning light.  You need to get that fixed now!  This light only comes on when a signal fails.  It has a backup but if the backup throttle signal fails then you'll have no throttle whatsoever.  You don't want that failing while you're driving it.
