Volvo Repair: Volvo ABS, proper diagnosis, abs system

Car: 1993 240
Upon starting the car, the ABS warning light comes on. When the brake pedal is released the engine stalls. What is the cause of the stalling, how is it related to the ABS system, and how can this be resolved?

I do not think they are related.the ABS problem could be a fuse locate on the transient surge protector which I believe is located under the passenger seat.the stalling could be many things from dirty throttle body or bad sensor it should be looked at for a proper diagnosis
