Volvo Repair: Volvo 2002 S 60 service reseat., warning triangle, computer message

Answer -
turn the ignition key to position 1 then press and hold the tripometer reset button then turn the key to position 2.hold the button til the service light flashes 2 times then release the button and then turn the key to off position.

hold the button then til the tripmeter changes from either 1 or 2.by this I mean the tripmeter will store 2 different mileages marked 1 and 2 when you turn the key on it will either say 1 or 2 then after awhile it wil switch to the next number.follow the same procedure I listed instead of the  service light flashing look for the trip  to change from 1 to 2 or 2 to 1.also it may make the warning triangle flash after it does press the trip button again then turn the key off.
