Volvo Repair: 2000 volvo S80 T6 transmission problem and keyless entry, volvo s80 t6, 2000 volvo s80 t6

Question
hello.. i have 2 questions if you don't mind, both involve my 2000 volvo S80 T6.

question #1:

i've misplaced my darn S80 keyless remote. someone told me i need: remote #9452456, but someone else said i can use remote #9459368, and this other guy says i need remote #8685150

which to order? also... once i get the keyless remote is it possible for me to program that remote.. if soo how. thanks

question #2:

what i thought was an oil leaked has actually turned into a TRANSMISSION leak. i took my car to the dealership 2moths ago and told them i was noting an oil leak on my driveway. well after a $90 diagnostic they said "no oil leak"... well the damm thing continues to leak so i put a towel underneath the car and its RED/purple in color which i'm assuming is transmission fluid... am i correct? must because the damm transmission fluid is low when i checked while it was running!

i just went back outside to look again.. i checked the transmission (ATF) dipstick and there was lots of fluid apparently all the way UPTO the HOT marker on the dipstick (the car had been sitting for about 3hours) .... suddenly i thought holy$hit it's leaking because its overfilled... so i drove the car about 5mins and checked the dipstick and now it is nearly empty (well below the COLD on the dipstick) ...

the marking on the dipstick are COLD near the bottom of the stick and HOT higer up... that's correct isn't it? ... so why am i getting these funny readings? help?

i can not get underneath the car to look exact at the source, does anyone have a clue... is it a gasket or bolt or is the darn thing dying.. it only has 87k miles.

you can post these messages/questions if you want.. i don't know why it says "no" to posting the questions

Answer
Okay first question:

I'm not exactly sure of the part number, i can double check tomorrow if you like but regardless, its not the remote that has to be programmed, its the car.  It has to be hooked up to the Volvo Satellite (available only at dealers or independent shops willing to buy this $11,000 diagnostic machine).  It will have to be a new remote or at least one that you know the program codes for (one 16 digit code and one 8 digit code).  Dealer only but not too expensive (maybe around $100).  Note:  you can have up to 6 remotes programmed for that car, 3 of which can automatically move the driver seat to preset position.

Question 2:

Be sure you're not trying to take your readings with the car not running.  After is sits trans fluid starts to drain back from the torque converter and could give you different readings so take the readings when the car has had a few minutes to sit.  Also are you the original owner?  I know it sounds stupid but i've seen the wrong dipstick in cars on more than one occassion.  Normally Trans fluid is very red, if its brown or purplish its a sign of the fluid overheating or the clutches burning.  Not a good sign.  That particular transmission is a GM design that volvo uses cause they didn't have a design of they're own that was small enought to fit in there with that big engine.  First years for that design are pretty bad.  Alot of times the trans cooler/lines will leak.  Also if there was a recent trans service the service fitting screw might be leaking if it wasn't tightened all the way (hard to do, tight area).  The biggest thing that leaks though on that car is the oil return lines from the turbo chargers.  Its hard to see though and if you had a technician that was feeling lazy it maight not have been checkec thouroghly.  Try to get a second opinion from another shop for the location of the leak if you can't find it.  Hope that helps.
