Volvo Repair: Check Engine Light and Emission System Service Required, o2 sensors, volvo dealer

Question
The Check Engine Light and Emission System Service Required lights came on the day after I bought a used 2000 S80 T6 with 42K miles.  I purchased the car on 12/09/04 from a Volvo dealer, and it is under warranty for 100K miles or 5 yrs.  I had it fixed, and a few days later (12/19) the lights came on again.  When I took it to the dealer this first time they returned it with following diagnostics:
1.  28464-3 Engine Control Module Fault Tracing.  Diagnostic Trouble Code (2)25412-2 O2 Sensor replace.
2.  25413-3 O2 Sensor following replace.36001-2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes Reading Resetting VST/VCT (2)
3.  43099 02 Sensor Failure.  Retrieved Diag. Code ECM290 Permanent Fault Faulty Signal Preheat Lamda Sensor Signal Bank 2.  Fault Traced and Diag.  O2 Sensor failure.  Replaced both Bank 2 sensors.  No further faults found.

Is this a persistent problem with the 2000 S80 T6--I seem to see a few posts regarding it.

Also, the car started making a "knocking" sound when I turn, and you can feel a sort of "pop" as when you hear the sound.  Any ideas on what this may be?  Would it be covered under the warranty as well.  And, the vehicle pulls to the right, despite the dealer stating that they had rotated the tires and adjusted the air pressure in them.

Needless to say, at this point I am disappointed in the car.  I had read about Volvo's and thought they had a pretty reliable vehicle.  Maybe I just got a "lemon".

Answer
these are not trouble codes they are warranty labor time guide numbers.they are used when a warranty claim is submitted.

they do have some trouble with the O2 sensors.

the knocking could be a broken upper strut mount,a worn swaybar link rod,or the subframe bushing is moving this can be eliminated with the installation of  A large Oring.

it may need an alignment ot fix the pulling problem.

sorry you have so much trouble with your Volvo.I would not say this is their best year for this car.
