Volvo Repair: volvo 240 front door panels & speakers, volvo 240, rear speakers

Question
Hallo!
That's my question:
I'm the owner of a '93 240 wagon and I'm going to replace the front speakers (they don't sound good anymore), but I don't want the slim "old style" ones again. I'd rather fit commercial 2 way speakers, but I can't find anyone deep less than 40mm.
I believe this is a problem I can get over fitting spacers and keeping the speaker sticking out a bit form the panel.
1. how can I remove safely the panel without causing any damage?
2. speaker screws are fitted on the panel or on the frame? (excess weight on panel?)
3. where speakers could be fitted on the rear doors? any cable routing is provided?
Many thanks for you support
Best Regards

Answer
rmove the clips on bottom of door pocket they turn 90 degrees to remove them.then the door pocket can be tapped up on each end to release it from the clips on each end.then remove small round screw covers on armrest then remove screws for arm rest then it will need to be pivotted upward to remove it from the top part of the panel.the door panel will then pull away from the door.

2.they are mounted to the panel not the metal of the door.

3. there should be wiring in the rear door panels for rear speakers.you will need to remove the panel to see where the speakers mount.
