Volvo Repair: Valvo doesnt run when warm, coolant temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor

1982 Volve 240 DL, When cold starts and runs fine, let it sit and idle for 30 t0 45 min. and it will die and restart but will not continue to run.  Exhust seems to be sooty also, like too much gas.  I replaced the air mass meter with a known good one and also the fuel pump and have replaced the fuel filter.  It has jetronic fuel injection.  Thanks Darrel

it could be a bad engine coolant temperature sensor,throttle switch ,or possible bad control unit.many things can act this way when they get warm.each sesnor will need to be checked to be sure it is ok.it is a process of elimination by checking each component of the fuel system.
